1. Our commitment
VolaIndex is built for working procurement operators, and that includes operators who rely on assistive technology. We want every part of the Service — the dashboard, the weekly brief, the methodology pages, and Vola — to be usable by keyboard, by screen reader, and at any zoom level.
2. Conformance target
We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA across the Service. The platform is under active development, and we audit against that target as part of our release process. Some areas — particularly dense data visualizations — are still being brought fully up to the target; where a chart's encoding is not yet fully accessible, the same figures are available in adjacent text or tabular form.
3. What we do
- Semantic headings, landmarks, and a skip-to-content link on every page.
- Keyboard access for navigation, search, dashboard drill-downs, and the Vola assistant.
- Visible focus indicators on interactive controls.
- Text alternatives and labels for controls, form fields, and status messages.
- Color used with a secondary cue (text, symbol, or position) wherever it carries meaning — a price delta is never color alone.
4. Feedback
If you hit an accessibility barrier anywhere on VolaIndex — a control you can't reach by keyboard, a chart you can't read, text that doesn't resize — we want to hear about it. Email vola@volaindex.com with the page and, if possible, the assistive technology you were using.
We respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days.Where a fix is needed, we'll tell you what we're doing about it and when.
